Design Team

Meet the Design Team:  The Spot design team are a group of Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from all over the world and we have come together as a wonderful talented group to share creativity with you each week.  We look forward to you taking part in all the challenges that we have come up with and maybe expand your creative process just a little along the way.  Thanks for dropping by and Happy Stampin'.  Below you will find a short bio for each team member.

Rick Adkins:

Hello, I am Rick Adkins!  I am 46 and have six loving fur babies (3 dogs and 3 cats), and a loving husband.  We live in Athens, Alabama, a small-town northwest of Huntsville. I have been an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since June of 2015 and have loved every minute of it.  I also hold a BFA degree in printmaking so being a demonstrator lets me play with stamps ink and paper without having to have a huge printing press in my studio.  I love that I get to do something creative every day.  I love to share what I love, and I love what I do.

Being on this design team with so many talented people are one of the highlights for me.  I am super excited, and I know that this design team will bring you wonderful inspiration every week.  We look forward to you playing along.

Andrea Tracy-Tucker:

Hello, I am Andrea Tracy-Tucker! I am 40 something mom of 3 and wife to 1. We live on the very eastern edge of Colorado. My kids are 10, 12 and 14 and keep things interesting. I became a Stampin' Up Demonstrator almost 7 years ago and have been stamping for 8! I grew up in Southern California and where we live now has only 2500 people. My other hobbies are riding horses, weather photography and I just recently have taken up crochet!

Sara Levin:

Hi, I'm Sara Levin. You should know that writing a bio is hard for me as I'm a very private person. That said, I live in Pennsylvania, US. Most of my adult "working" life has been spent in the non-profit sector helping the underserved in my community. I've been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator for 10 years. During that time, I've made friends from around the work and developed my creative side. I love to read and enjoy learning anything. And, will travel at the drop of a hat given the opportunity.

Lisa Mackey:

Hi there, I’m Lisa Mackey. I live in Johnstown, NY (USA) with my amazing husband Mike and our two kitties Adeline & Bella. I also have a grown son, Kyle but he pays his own bills now and so I stole his bedroom, created a pretty sweet craft room and affectionately named it Chase & Main.
Though I’ve been crafting in various forms for nearly 20 years; paper-crafting is my true passion. I was introduced to Stampin Up about 4 years ago and signed up as a demonstrator after the very first workshop I attended.
During the day, I manage a cheese manufacturing company and own a rental property business as well. Though Stampin Up began as (just) a little hobby; I have established a small team, hold monthly workshops, and LOVE the creative process More. Then. Anything! I have formed so many amazing friendships and traveled to some pretty great places, all thanks to Stampin Up.
I am honored to have been asked to join the incredibly talented design team at The Spot and hope to inspire you even further in your crafty adventures!

Jennifer Rowe Picard:

Hello! I’m Jennifer Picard, a 40-something mom, dog lover, freelance makeup artist, and self-professed mamarazzi. I live in beautiful British Columbia, Canada with my chef husband, three children and two goofy and adorable basset hounds.
My journey into papercrafting started in the fall of 2007 when I went to my very first Stampin’ Up! Workshop.  I had never done any stamping or cardmaking before, but after that first encounter with ink, paper, and stamps, I was hooked and wanted everything in the catalogue! What was a girl to do but to sign up right there and then?! I quickly added scrapbooking to my newfound obsession.
I am looking forward to working with this talented design team to bring you inspiration each week!

Tina Rackley Riddle:

Hi, I'm Tina Riddle. I live in the small town of Manchester, TN located half way between Nashville and Chattanooga. I love all things crafty but especially card making and scrapbooking! My husband, Jeff, and I have four dogs... yep we are crazy dog people! I am an Import Manager for a retail chain on week days and spend my weekends visiting some of our 9 grandchildren or paper crafting!

Jay Soriano:

Hiya, I’m Jay Soriano. I live with my partner Barry in Hampshire, UK.

Barry and I started papercrafting together 7 years ago. We started our Mitosu Crafts blog soon after, named after our 3 cats; Minnie, Tommy, and Sukie.
I am a supporting Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator to Barry for nearly 5 years. We run card making classes together and do YouTube videos.
I have always been creative with a Fine Art Painting background. So, I do love colouring and trying new techniques on my projects.
I’m honoured to be a part of this fabulous and creative team.

Liz Yuille:

Hi, I'm Liz Yuille. I live in a small village in Oxfordshire in the UK, and I do mean small, just 800 people. I am married to Martin and we live right on the edge of the village with our 3 cats, Salt, Pepper and Mustard (known collectively as the Condiments). Yes, we are just a little nutty, but we are old enough that it is allowed!
I became a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator just under 4 years ago. Confession, I had never heard of Stampin' Up! until a few weeks before I signed up. I am in the fortunate position that I was able to take (very!) early retirement to set up my Stampin' Up! business, so I get to play with Stamps, Ink and Paper all day!
I am thrilled to have been asked to join this amazing team of really talented crafters.

Karen Bird Day:

Hey y’all! Karen Day here. I’ve been with Stampin’ Up! for about 3 years now. My day job is in education so teaching anything is second nature. I love that moment when someone says “I did it! I made this” when they never thought of themself as crafty or creative. I live in Arkansas with my hubs, Thomas. We have raised 2 kiddos, Anna Claire and Jackson, and our nest is almost empty as they are now college aged adults. No worries though, we still have fur babies at home! Rylee and Lucy keep us on our toes and wake us in the wee early hours of the day.

I am super excited about joining The Spot design team and working with this team of amazing artists! I love creating and sharing. My biggest hope is that I inspire you to create something daily!

Teneale Williams:

Hi, my name is Teneale Williams, Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator from Sydney, Australia. I have been papercrafting for over 18 years, I started with scrapbooking and then I discovered cardmaking, instantly fell in love with Stampin’ Up!. I love how the products all work together and I totally love that I can get cardstock, ink and embellishments in the same colour, NO more colour matching drama‘s. Cardmaking proves me with a double reward, I enjoy my time being creative and I adore the response I receive from my friends and family when they receive handmade cards from me.

Sharon Dalton

Hi Everyone, I am Shaz (Sharon Dalton) <3 I live in Gogango a small country town in Central Queenland, Australia with only 10 houses in it...I am happily married to my husband of almost 30 yrs...I have been using Stampin' Up! products for probably about 10yrs BUT I have only been a Demonstrator for almost 7 of those years. I have a team of 11, that fluctuates with every quarter...

Thank you for inviting me to be part of the team <3 I can honestly say that all my life I have had a love of paper and stickers, I would cover my school books in brown paper and then add pictures all over them....BUT in 2002 I was introduced to Scrapbooking and I haven't looked back!!! ...My first LOVE is still Scrapbooking, check out Scrapbooking Global - Stampin' Up! FB group.... BUT I do LOVE making cards too!!! I love that Stampin' Up! creates products that work so well with many of the other stamps and suites not just the one it is created for.

Simone Bartrum:

Hi, my name is Simone Bartrum and I live in the Victorian goldfields in the south east corner of Australia, with my UK-born husband, 3 children, plus a bundle of adorable fur-babies. Nearly 14 years ago we left a busy life in the city for the quiet rural life, and it was at this time that I joined Stampin’ Up!. Sharing this wonderful hobby turned out to be the perfect way to make new friends and settle in to a new community. I’m blessed that in the years that followed, my love of stamps, ink and paper has grown into a wonderful and fulfilling business - and still my favourite hobby. The colour families and coordinating products are what first drew me to Stampin’ Up!, and even after all these years I’m still excited by the products that just seem to work so well together.

Demonstrator almost 5 years ago after attending a couple of classes. Being an avid scrapbooker at the time, once I was introduced to card making I was instantly hooked and created my business, Sweet Paper Studios.
